showcases a range of my  work- collage, photography, knits, & accessories.  There are also vintage items I have sourced over the years from flea markets and antique fairs upstate and in the city. 

 

current focus

two series of  unique cut paper collage artwork

​   1.'surreal perspectives' - colorful fantasy/imaginative/ dreamscapes

approximately 25 x 14 inches, mounted on cardboard

 

 2. my 'visitors from xanadu'  - small character bird figures (with big personalities!)  ranging  2 - 7 inches tall, mounted on cardstock.  

 

​​why the name 'mandrake?

working in the music industry during the 1970s-80s  in publicity, and artist-management-label collaborations, I was given the nickname  mandrake by one of my clients, Lou Reed, who then suggested I 'looked it up' to find it's roots in history. (pun intended!)  The name resonated - becoming the identity I kept for ongoing creative and business ventures.
